Top-notch tonewood construction
As soon as the Sterling JV60 hits your hands, you'll notice that every bit of the instrument is crafted from quality materials. The guitar's naturally bold sound and sustain is thanks in large part to the Mississippi swamp ash used for the comfortable, wedge-shaped body. Further enhancing your tone's sustain is the JV60's roasted maple neck and fretboard. Not only does the roasting process benefit your tone, but the neck is incredibly stable for worry-free performance night after night.
Custom pickup configuration
There is much more under the JV60's hood than an initial glance would suggest. Though in a humbucker housing, you're able to create stinging, punchy lead lines as well as clean country-style lines from the single-coil bridge pickup. Flip to the neck humbucker for your fatter tonal needs, or use the middle position for all your clean funk tones. And getting heard over your band has never been easier, thanks to the onboard active 12dB boost that you activate with a simple push of your volume knob. With electronics like these, the JV60 is anything but a one-trick pony.
