The redesigned 4th Gen mic preamps offer a 69dB gain range, providing enough headroom to drive demanding broadcast microphones like the Shure SM7B without any external preamp. Two intelligent features make recording effortless: Auto Gain sets your ideal input level in just 10 seconds, while Clip Safe monitors your signal up to 96,000 times per second to prevent distortion and protect your take. The re-engineered Air Mode offers Presence Mode for added high-end clarity on vocals and acoustic instruments, and Harmonic Drive Mode for warm, analog-style midrange punch.
The front panel includes 2× ¼" Hi-Z instrument inputs, a redesigned high-impedance headphone output, and dedicated controls for 48V phantom power, Inst, Auto Gain, Clip Safe, and Air. The rear panel features 2× Neutrik XLR microphone inputs and 2× ¼" TRS balanced monitor outputs. Built-in Loopback channels allow routing of system audio from Spotify, YouTube, Zoom, or any app directly into your DAW or streaming software.
