Front Panel:
The clean front panel gives you full hands-on control: two Combo XLR/¼" inputs accept microphones, instruments, or line-level sources, each with independent gain knobs and signature LED halo metering that turns green for healthy signal and red on clip. Individual +48V phantom power buttons serve each channel independently, and dedicated Air mode indicators confirm when the circuit is active. A large monitor output knob and a high-power headphone output with its own volume control complete the front-panel workflow.

Rear Panel & Connectivity:
The rear panel is built for expandability. A USB-C port (USB 2.0 protocol, compatible with USB 3.0 and Thunderbolt 3 & 4) enables ultra-low round-trip latency for real-time monitoring with plugins active in your DAW. An ADAT Optical input expands the interface to 10 total inputs when paired with an 8-channel preamp like the Clarett OctoPre. 4 balanced ¼" TRS line outputs allow flexible routing to monitors, external gear, or a secondary headphone amp, alongside 5-pin DIN MIDI In/Out for connecting hardware synths, controllers, and drum machines. A dedicated DC power input and on/off switch are also included, with bus-power support available on compatible systems.

Recording at up to 24-bit/192kHz resolution, the Clarett 2Pre delivers a wide dynamic range of 118–124 dB (Clarett vs. Clarett+ revision) and an extremely low THD+N of under 0.0009% — meaning your recordings stay transparent, noise-free, and true to the original performance. The highly optimized drivers ensure real-time, latency-free monitoring so you can perform and produce without distraction.
