The Focusrite Clarett+ 4Pre is a premium studio-grade audio interface designed for professional producers, musicians, and project studios demanding the highest audio quality. With upgraded A-D/D-A converters, four high-headroom Clarett+ preamps, and a massive 18-in/8-out channel count, it delivers pristine, broadcast-quality recordings at up to 24-bit/192 kHz.

Air Mode — a signature analog feature — physically switches input impedance to 2.2 kΩ and adds a high-frequency shelf boost, emulating the legendary Focusrite ISA 110 console preamp. Ideal for adding instant shimmer and presence to vocals and acoustic guitars. Channels 1 and 2 also feature JFET instrument inputs, faithfully preserving the natural tone of guitars and basses just like a real amp input.

The front panel houses four combo XLR-1/4" inputs, color-coded gain halo knobs, dual independent +48V phantom power switches, a main monitor volume dial, and two fully independent headphone outputs — each with its own volume control. On the rear, four fixed-gain TRS line inputs (5–8), four balanced TRS line outputs, MIDI DIN I/O, S/PDIF coaxial I/O, and an optical ADAT input allow seamless expansion up to 18 analog inputs via a compatible expander like the Clarett+ OctoPre.

Connects via USB-C. Compatible with Mac, Windows, and iPadOS. Powered by the included external 12V DC supply.
