Focusrite Saffire Pro 24 — FireWire Audio & MIDI Interface

The Focusrite Saffire Pro 24 is a professional 16-input, 8-output FireWire audio interface built for home studios and mobile recording setups. Delivering 24-bit / 96 kHz high-resolution audio conversion, it combines Focusrite's award-winning preamp quality with flexible routing via the intuitive Saffire MixControl software — making it an ideal centerpiece for any serious recording workflow.

Inputs & Outputs:

The front panel features 2 Neutrik combo XLR/TRS inputs (Channels 1–2) that auto-switch between Mic, Line, and Hi-Z Instrument modes, complete with dedicated gain knobs, 5-segment LED meters, and a global +48V phantom power switch. A large monitor volume dial and a dedicated 1/4" headphone output with its own volume control complete the front panel.
On the rear, 2 additional balanced TRS line inputs (Channels 3–4) with software-selectable gain offer flexible connectivity for synths and outboard gear. 6 balanced TRS line outputs handle studio monitors and secondary monitoring. Digital expansion comes via ADAT Optical input (up to 8 extra channels), S/PDIF coaxial I/O, and 5-pin DIN MIDI In/Out ports. A built-in Loopback facility lets you route audio internally between applications effortlessly.

Connectivity & Power:
Connects via FireWire 400 (6-pin) with Thunderbolt compatibility through an adapter. Powers conveniently over bus power (6-pin FireWire) or the included 12V DC external PSU — perfect for studio and on-location use.
