Powered by RØDE's Revolution Preamp™ and built-in APHEX® DSP processing, the PodMic USB delivers a polished, radio-ready sound right out of the box — complete with a studio compressor, noise gate, high-pass filter, Aural Exciter™, and Big Bottom™ enhancement. Its cardioid polar pattern and 24-bit/48kHz digital audio ensure crystal-clear voice capture while naturally rejecting background noise.
The integrated 3.5mm headphone jack with onboard volume control provides zero-latency monitoring, while the internal shock mount and dual pop filter system — including an attachable foam windscreen — eliminate unwanted rumble, handling noise, and plosives. The heavy-duty all-metal housing with scratch-resistant finish and integrated swing mount make it equally at home on a desk stand or studio boom arm.
